New A series ii not working

Hi,

I just received my A series ii light second hand fro marketplace, however it was a new unused light. The previous owner said that she had tested the light and it worked.
I am able to find the device on the app but I cannot get the light to turn on at all, using the manual slider does nothing.

I've tried reinstalling the app, deleting the device and refinding it, trying different power outlets etc. But nothing can get the light to come on.

Is it potentially because the previous owner had the device set up?

Take a photo of the specifications of the power adapter clearly.
It may not be our original power adapter.
