How to Set Light Intensity?

Hi all,

I recently bought a WRGB Slim II 45, but I haven't set up my aquascape yet. I prefer to learn more about it first. My tank size is 45x30x30 cm, and I plan to use the following plants:

1. Bucephalandra
2. Anubias
3. Ludwigia
4. Rotala Blood Red
5. Hygrophila Pinnatifida
6. Rotala Green

After reading all the replies in this post, many questions came to my mind:

1. What happens if I set too much red, too much green, or too much blue?

2. What does "light intensity" actually mean? For example, if I set red to 30%, blue to 20%, and green to 25%, what would the total light intensity be?

3. Is light intensity calculated by averaging the red, green, and blue values? For example, if red is 30%, green is 25%, and blue is 20%, does that mean the total light intensity is 25%?

Thanks in advance!
Hi,
WRGB II Slim 45 light is suitable for a 45x30x30cm tank. If it's a newly planted tank, please check the answers below:
1. If you set too much red, green, or blue, that means high brightness, algae will grow faster than plants.
2. Light intensity is the light brightness, it refers to each RGB percentages.
3. The overall brightness is the sum of RGB percentages. In the app lightness setting, there are 3 RGB channels above and below are 2 channels Overall brightness and Kelvin. Either slide the RGB or Overall brightness and Kelvin, they are relevant.
