Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. Just want to give a little back story as to why I'm asking for some advice. My tank is a 40 gallon breeder tank, and my light is the WRBG 2 10Th Anniversary 60cm. I realize that the side of the tank wasn't getting enough light on the plants obviously because I bought a shorter light. I have two 10 gallon lights from Finnex that I put on the tank ends to give the side light and I had an explosion of algae. I also made custom legs for the light so I can raise it higher. I got the algae under control considering where it was at by removing the two lights and reducing how much I fertilize. My current light settings are set at Red 100 Green 90 and Blue 100, running 8 hours a day with Co2 Injection. To fix my length problem I purchased the WRBG 2 Pro 90cm. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on settings I should start with given the light is longer and stronger than what I previously had, and I still have algae that I'm working on (The algae is fading.). Below is a photo for maturity reference.

What's your tank size, WxDxH in centimeters?
How old is your tank?
What settings do you use currently of WRGB II Pro 90 light?

The size is W 46cm, L 92cm, H 43cm
Its about a year old.
I'm currently using the WRBG 2 10th anniversary 60cm, at Red 100%, Green 90%, and Blue 100%.
Tomorrow the WRBG 2 Pro 90cm will be here.

92x46x43cm tank, WRGB II 90 10th Edition light is suitable.
If you have the WRGB II Pro 90 light, recommend starting at a low color intensity like 30%. For example, Red 30%, Green 25, Blue 25.
Manually remove the algae, change water frequently.
Add 5% intensity each week for growth, end around 80% intensity when it's mature.

A question on my side : but with 90x45x45 tank, can I use a WRGB2-90cm standard lamp ? or it is poor for high demanding plants ?

I think that light is sufficient enough, I would just watch the growth in the front and back of tank and raise it if needed. But it is more than powerful enough. I grew many different plants with the standard WRBG2 with no issues (reds, pinks, purples). I just upgraded to pro since I needed to upgrade the length I was using (60cm on a 90m). That picture is using the standard WRBG2 and it was shorter than my tank.

Oppure in modo manuale
Fino ad oggi ho sempre regolato a mano i canali

WRGB II 120 light on a 124x48x45cm tank.
This light model and size is suitable.
Preset mode like Red, Green, Buce is okay.

As for algae issue, you can clean your filter, add water flow, reduce nutrients, manually remove algae and change water frequently.
