Dosing Pump - no reminder when dosing liquid runs out

I have the dosing pump fully configured and operational. I purchased this item for two primary reasons:

1) To ensure the dosing is precise and follows the schedule.

2) To notify me the dosing liquid is running out needs refilling.

I was (as was the vendor who sold me the dosing pump) SURE that it would provide a reminder at least 48 hours before the liquid runs out, but it does not.

Am I overlooking something?

If this feature is not available, how can I request the product or development team to incorporate it?

Additionally, in the meantime, I need an alternative solution (other than manually setting reminders, as this defeats the purpose of having an app).

The My Chihiros app has local push notifications, provided that the app is not completely closed and the notification permission is turned on.

Thank you for the post. I did not receive any notifications from the app. Attached is the app screenshot and the associated Android notification page. I do not see categories options to toggle notifications on or off like in other apps. Additionally, I cannot guarantee that the app will remain active for 30-40 days solely to push these notifications. There must an alternative solution.

This is how my app looks. However no reminders are showing up. I never had any reminders about dosage running out.

What's wrong?

My Chihiros app settings have no problem.
It could be the app is forced to be stopped by the system or mobile assistant, and manual cleaning of the app cache can also lead to this problem.

Thank you. I have not attempted any of that. have had the app installed for six months as per the images above, and I have never received a notification.

Let us work on resolving the issue.

What steps should I follow to make it work?

I do not mind deleting and reinstalling the app if you can guarantee it will function properly.

Additionally, I need to ensure that it will work without me having to open the app daily or anything like that, I just need a notification even after 2-3 months without opening or using the app...

It's not an problem of the app, it's the setting on your phone.
Technicians said the possible reason: The app is forced to be stopped by phone system or mobile assistant, or manual cleaning of the app cache.

I have ensured that the app was defined allowed to run in background under battery setting, so android wont close it for no reason.

1. Many phones come with pre-installed optimization tools or "phone assistants" that automatically clear caches, manage memory, or restrict certain apps' background activities.
2. If you've manually cleared the app's cache, it might affect notification push functionality.
3. If your phone has specific system notification management or priority settings, make sure that the notifications for the Chihiros app are not set to "Silent" or "Low priority."
4. Sometimes, network instability can also cause notifications not to be pushed properly, so ensure your phone always has a stable network connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). You can try switching to a different network environment to see if that improves the situation.
5. Make sure both your Android system and the Chihiros app are up-to-date. Sometimes, updating the system or app can fix compatibility issues and ensure that the notification push feature works properly.
