External Co2 diffusor - how to connect Co2

How do I connect the CO2 pressure hose to the external diffuser?

When I try to unscrew the "union nut," I only ever get to the spring inside. I suspect that the part I'm unscrewing is actually made of two pieces, but the outer thread is too tight, so I'm always unscrewing both. Or is the CO2 pressure hose simply forced in?

Thanks Rudi

First of all, thank you very much for the prompt reply. I had already thought of that. I even put a rubber band on the tip for a better grip. However, the union nut was too tight. Thanks to your encouragement, I solved the problem as follows: I wrapped a wider rubber band around the tip and the entire diffuser and then carefully!!! applied a little more pressure with pipe pliers. Finally, I was able to turn the union nut without turning the lower thread and without deforming the diffuser.

I've attached a picture for better understanding.

My tip for a possible product update would be to make the thread for the check valve longer and design it as a hex nut.
