Connection issues

I’m having issues- Everything set as per instruction. On apple and have Bluetooth allowed through app. Everytime I open the app I can’t connect to the light. I can’t adjust settings and the settings I had set up are not working.

Unplug the bluetooth controller for a few minutes then plug it in to search and connect.
Or restart your phone to try.
