Chihiros External Diffuser L

Hello, I'm using the Chihiros External Diffuser L, and a few days ago, when I tried to remove it, the parts separated. I wasn't sure how to attach parts 1 and 2. Specifically, which way should I attach part 2 to part 1? I've added two pictures, A and B, to help you understand the directions. How do you think I should attach it? Like picture A or B?

Direction is important to me. Which direction should I place the second piece on the first piece?

I can't see any CO2 bubbles in the ceramic part of the diffuser. I thought there was a problem with the hose coming from the CO2 tank, so I placed it in a container of water and saw bubbles appear. Also, the indicator in the aquarium doesn't turn green. I have two Chihiros diffusers and I tried them both, and unfortunately, the result was the same. Shouldn't bubbles normally appear in the ceramic part of the diffuser?
