ok great , but does the light flash when its working or is it always constantly on regardless of when its on standby and when its actually fizzing or creating the mist of bubbles?

i just installed a chihiros doctor mate for a nano tank (bluetooth). The power light stays on constantly.. how do i know when the device is actually working (besides of course staring at the grill waiting for the the unit to function )? Does the light flash or??? the instructions dont actually...
