Wifi Hub won't push Settings to Wrgb2 slim after power cut

Hi,
Recently purchased wrgb2 slim and realised they don't persists memory of settings after a power cut. So bought a Chihiros wifi hub to help restore the settings after power resumed which is what it's advertised for. However, the settings are never synched back after power resumes.
I've tested the below:
1. Both hub and light are connected and close to each other with healthy 2.4 GHz wifi access.
2. I can control the light via app even after turning bluetooth off on mobile, which indicates the hub is able to communicate when I update settings manually.

Tried it. Didn't work. Restarted wifi router, light and hub. Issue still exist. When I manually sync by turning it off and back on via the app it works.

It could be a problem of the WiFi Hub it’s not very stable.
You can try to plug out for some time then plug in to try again.
 
Is this even a suggestion? Wifi hub is supposed to work 24/7 as long as power is available. I suspect I've received a defective hub. Or the hub isn't doing what's it's supposed to do. Is they any limitation on time zone? I'm in IST zone. (GMT +5.30)
 
No, for a long time before it doesn’t support half time zone.
Will ask app technicians if the new Wifi Hub 2 Mate could support.
