After a month of using the Vivid 2 lamp and searching the internet for examples, I do not found anything. You wrote in some threads about
sharing your settings in Ideas or "Sync setting from social". I am totally confused about that. There is no Ideas page or sync from social option in my app or in the forum?
Could you in mind to share a link to Ideas or provide a more comprehensive manual?

Steps:
1. Enter the app My Chihiros, go to "Ideas".
2. Find a post you like, see if they share their light settings, save it.
3. Enter your light Device Settings page, enter "Sync setting from Social" to choose.
Your light model and size need to be the SAME as the author's.

The attached pictures are just for clarifing the steps:

...that is very interesting, and thank you for your support. But there is and was no tab "ideas" in my app. The first setting of "my tank" was at 3th October 2024... a little bit strange at the moment. Probably, the ideas tab was not implemented in that app version in October 2024. Currently, there is an update available, but the attempt to update fails. I will try it later when I am getting home. After linked the devices I will try it again. Regards, Claus-Peter

Download the latest app version in App Store or Google Play.

Hello again, the newest version of the app solve my question about the ideas from other users. thanks.

Nevertheless, my first attempt to make a customize light setting leads to another question. At first, the two Vivid II devices are grouped, and the light setting was per automation until 7th December. Now I made an individual daytime schedule with sunrise and sun fall, but the dimming is not as expected. Furthermore, the left device has slightly another light shape than the right device.

Here are my shots from this morning:
0801 beginning.jpgbeginning.jpg

...an hour later:
0911 sunrise.jpgsunrise.jpg

The first picture from 08:01 you see a more yellow shape at the left device (as expected) and a more green shape at the right device. Futhermore it should be just one percent at the green channel and two percent at the red channel. In summary, the lights are a too bright in my sight(?).
At the second picture from 09:11 you see a more red shape at the left device (as expected) than the other one. It is hardly to see, I know.
The last remark is about the dimming at the end of the schedule. The light goes darker, but they never goes step by step to 0. At midnight, it is more a brightness like the picture from 09:11 and the lights suddenly goes out (the left device some seconds before the right device).

Is there another hint to consider choosing a customization?
Is it probably better to ungroup the devices?

Do the 2 lights show the same color at the same sunrise/set settings when you set them separately?
Or when you group them and use Manual or Auto settings, do they show the same color?

Hello, that is a good question, and I had indeed been recognizing a difference between the two lamps before. The two devices are grouped together and the color was different also with the auto setting with a slightly warmer tone on the left. The manual setting I have been tested one time, but I am not always at home. Therefore, an automation is preferred (one of the things I considered before I bought VIVID II lights).

Since the color is slightly different if in Manual mode still that difference, it's not a device or app setting problem, it's from different production batches, the led beads colors have small difference.

Hello and thanks for reply, Ok, i will check the different production batches. But the question about the dimming behavior is not answered, yet

What dimming behavior?
You can show us the light brightness at 0:00 to compare with 09:11.

Hello, sorry for my bad english and the lack of pictures at midnight. I made a few settings yet and here are the examples:

The dimming a few minutes before midnight should be 1 % at each channel like this setting
dimming test.jpg
...and the result is this
dimming result.jpg
...i am not sure, but i think it is too bright for just 3 % in summary. A few minutes later, the devices goes off as expected in this example at 10:59.

You can see what brightness the lights show at 3% in manual mode comparing with customize mode.
If it's same there is no problem.
