Hi everyone,

Looking for some insight into an annoying issue that recently started happening with my Chihiros WRGB2 Slim units.

The Setup:
I run a WRGB2 Slim 120 and a WRGB2 Slim 45. On another tank, I run a pair of Vivid 3's. Everything is managed via the My Chihiros app.

The Problem:
Previously, when my Slims were in Auto Mode running their normal photoperiod, if I wanted to view the tank at night outside of those hours, I would toggle over to Manual Mode. When doing this, Manual Mode would always default to 0%, allowing me to slowly ramp the intensity up a few percent manually without shocking the livestock.

Now, when I switch to Manual Mode—even late at night when Auto Mode is completely blacked out—the light immediately jumps to the 80% power setting from my Auto schedule.

Interestingly, my tank with the Vivid 3's still works perfectly and defaults to 0% when switching to manual.

My Question:
Has a recent app firmware update changed how the Slims handle manual defaults? Is there a hidden setting somewhere to force the default starting point in Manual Mode back to 0%?

I figured it out. I had experimented with a double photo period so that I could view the tank both in the morning and late at night without exceeding 8hrs. The two Slims and an A series had this program saved but not selected. The 'Manual' tab would mimic whatever setting that custom setting was at in time. Selecting Reset on the Customise tab put the Manual default back to 0% at all times.
