Hi everyone,
Looking for some insight into an annoying issue that recently started happening with my Chihiros WRGB2 Slim units.
The Setup:
I run a WRGB2 Slim 120 and a WRGB2 Slim 45. On another tank, I run a pair of Vivid 3's. Everything is managed via the My Chihiros app.
The Problem:
Previously, when my Slims were in Auto Mode running their normal photoperiod, if I wanted to view the tank at night outside of those hours, I would toggle over to Manual Mode. When doing this, Manual Mode would always default to 0%, allowing me to slowly ramp the intensity up a few percent manually without shocking the livestock.
Now, when I switch to Manual Mode—even late at night when Auto Mode is completely blacked out—the light immediately jumps to the 80% power setting from my Auto schedule.
Interestingly, my tank with the Vivid 3's still works perfectly and defaults to 0% when switching to manual.
My Question:
Has a recent app firmware update changed how the Slims handle manual defaults? Is there a hidden setting somewhere to force the default starting point in Manual Mode back to 0%?
