I have 2 tanks: the bigger one is equipped with several devices which are all connected via Wifi Hub Pro.
For my second (nano) tank I just changed to a Magnetic Light 2. As the Wifi Hub Pro only supports 1 single tank I gave my older Wifi Hub (NOT Pro) a second life, created a second tank in the app and connected both the Magnetic Light 2 and the Wifi Hub to the new tank (the nano tank) in the app. Then I tried to connect the Magnetic Light 2 via the (old) Wifi Hub which initially worked. But then I discovered that of all 3 timers I had programmed when the Light was directly connected to my phone / the app only one ist showing in the app when the Light is connected via the Wifi Hub. Also the Light constantly asks for a software update but refuses to update via the Wifi Hub. When connected directly via bluetooth to my phone / the app it says there was no update necessary.
Is this a bug? Or is Magnetic Light 2 just simply not fully compatible with the old Wifi Hub?
Is it worth trying to connect the Magnetic Light 2 to the (new) Wifi Hub Pro of the other tank, pretendig it was part of this tank? I didn't try yet as I suspect this might bring some disorder in my perfectly working system...
