Initially when I set it up, the bubble counter worked but it was so slow, like more than 5 seconds for one bubble to go up. I tried to increase the flow of CO2 but it would not increase the bubble rate. The line from the bubble counter towards the aquarium got some water in it from the bubble counter.
After this I tried to unscrew the whole regulator off the CO2 cannister but now, even if I fully open the cannister and turn up the knob to increase bubble counter rate, it would NOT give a single bubble.
Also, I noticed that when the cannister is fully off, the pressure gauge reading is still reading the amount of pressure in the cannister even if it is on a closed position, or the cannister itself is completely off.
