Dosing pump not working

just set up a new Chihiros dosing pump and I cannot get any channels to prime.

Here’s what’s happening:

• The long central drive wheel inside the unit rotates when I run prime mode.
• However, the 3 rollers in each dosing head do NOT appear to rotate/compress the tubing.
• None of the channels will pull liquid at all.
• I cannot even manually suck/blow air through the tubing when it is installed in the pump head.
• If I disconnect the tubing from the pump head entirely, airflow through the tubing is normal.
• I removed the pump head covers and checked the tubing routing.
• All channels behave identically, which makes me think this is not just one bad head or simple priming.

It almost feels like:

• the central drive wheel is spinning
  BUT
• not actually engaging the roller assemblies in the dosing heads.

Has anyone seen this before?
Could the heads be assembled incorrectly from the factory, over-tightened for shipping, or not properly engaging the drive mechanism?

Use a sharp tool like a tweezer to toggle the central 3 black wheels of each pump head when prime in the app.
