Chihiros WRGB II Slim problem

Hi all,


Since I came back from a short holiday, my WRGB II Slim lamp is no longer functioning normally.
  • The light does not turn on anymore.
  • When unplugging and plugging it back in, nothing happens.
  • The indicator light on the adapter is green.
  • I measured the output with a multimeter, and the voltage going in to the led controller is normal.
  • I removed the device from the app, but now it cannot be found anymore when I try to add it again.
  • I rebooted my iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26) and even reinstalled the app.
  • I also tried with an older Android phone which i never used the light with (or the app), but it is not showing up there either.
  • It does not appear in a BLE scanner either.

Technical summary:
  • Power adapter output = OK
  • Lamp not turning on
  • Controller not visible in app or BLE scanner
    → Suspected controller failure or internal lamp defect

Does anyone know what else I could try, or is this a sign that the controller/lamp needs replacement?

Plug in the light, open bluetooth.
Totally close the app My Chihiros from phone backend. Download an app nRF Connect to scan all the devices, take screenshots of all the devices it finds on Scanner page.
 
Hi these are the found devices. i powered it on inside the shed and scanned the devices there. this is the furthest away from neighbors.

"The indicator light on the adapter is green." - Power adapter has no problem.
It could be a problem of the bluetooth controller, cable that connects the light or the led beads panel.

Check the led beads panel, if there is no red paper strip on it, you can replace a bluetooth controller to try.
 
sorry, i am not sure what you mean by red paper strip. i see a red black and yellow round warranty sticker and a pink WRGB II Slim 45 sticker on the cable. Before i removed the device from the app the light was not working according to the schedule
