Hi, this is the regulator mate, when off, the bubbles still continue to pop... Is the solenoid broken ?
When the solenoid valve is closed, the deflation will not stop immediately, and there will be a small amount of residual gas at the bottom of the valve and bubble counter. The residual gas will be slowly outgassed depending on the gas output, which takes about 1-5 minutes.

If it lasts for a long time, you can try below steps to check.
1. Remove the tube or the bubble counter(pic 1).
2. Open the valve(pic 2) to check whether the air is still coming out (when the solenoid valve is closed).

If there is still the air, open the solenoid valve to pull the spring inside(pic 3).

Hi I have a new Chihiros Mate Regulator as well and where the syringe water goes in, when the regulator is turned on, the CO2 leaks out. If I put my finger and cover the hole, it works fine. Am I missing a piece or did I set it up wrong?

Here is a link to the photo showing the syringe filling up with CO2.https://www.reddit.com/r/PlantedTank/s/6ecTbGWhwz

Unscrew the top cover of the bubble counter, there is a cylinder inside.
Unscrew it, there is a small spring and a white gasket in the small hole. Take out the gasket and rearrange it.

Thanks for the reply tried it again and it worked! But had to turn the gasket and spring the other way around. Is this going to cause any problems?

Never mind it didn't work again. I also placed it back to its original position and it's still not working.

No need to rearrange the gasket upside down.
Just rearrange them is okay.

I just bought the CO2 Regulator Mate and am having a coupe of issues.

1. The bubble counter is super wobbly where is threads onto the regulator, I thread it as much as possible by hand. It also leaks from there.
2. It blows water out of the water infill for the bubble counter and leaks CO2 out of the same hole.

Check the attached 2 pictures.
Technicians said you can open the red arrow part, next use a sharp-nosed pliers or other tools to tighten this gold part.

Ah I see, I ended up using a hex wrench instead. It appears it is slotted for specifically for what looks like m4 hex. It did tighten down nicely and resolved the leaking. Thanks!

The working pressure of the Chihiros Mate regulator is not adjustable. At how many bar is the working pressure of this pressure regulator set?

Got the CO2 Mate Regulator with the bluetooth solenoid controller 17th of desember last year and during my holiday i got a message from my electricity supplier that there was a power outtake.
When i came home 5 days later i found out that the CO2 regulator wasn't turned on.
What do i need to fix this, i'm worried about algae bloom if i go on a longer holiday and want this to be turned on when the power comes back during "on hours".
Thought a product in 2024 would have the schedule stored in memory.

We'll release the Wifi Hub 2 Mate in 2025, it can support devices to be controlled via Wi-Fi and remote control.
