Bluetooth fan temperature probe swings

Hi

I have your bluetooth fan in a 26g tank, the temperature probe seems to drop and rise faster than other digital thermometers I am using. It would also sometimes swing up .4 degrees Celsius to the just come down a few minutes later. This swing seems too quick when there is nothing that would heat or cool the water that fast active in the tank.

It's difficult to ensure the fan comes on at the right time if the temperature reading is this erratic. Do you have any suggestions to allow the temperature probe to be more consistent?

Thanks

This calibration button only offsets the temperature reading, it doesn't smooth out these erratic swings. Should these swings in temperature be expected? If I test against other thermostats their readings are much smoother and increases/decreases over a longer period of time, which I would expect from the temperature of water.

It uses a high-sensitivity digital sensor, designed to quickly respond to temperature changes. As a result, you may notice faster fluctuations compared to traditional thermometers.
And especially in certain location near the fan, the temperature fluctuations may be more noticeable.

Today I used the calibration setting to change the temperature from 26.2 to 26.5, it has been stable at 26.2 for a few hours. Few seconds after updating the calibration, the temperature started reading 27.5. The room temperature is 26 and other sensors NTC 10k sensors read 25.9, this behaviour doesn't seem normal. Is there any way to restore the device to factory settings so it removes any previous calibration attempts?

Reset the device is delete it from Device list page, plug out for a few minutes then plug back in to add it again.
