Right, my android phone has an old version of chihiros (2.2.23) because it has been switched off for years. So seems like they have just cooked something in the newer versions of both apps. Just turned auto update off so I don't auto update to the latest broken version

I don't think its the server, I think the app (so far seems like the apple app) is broken. I was able to boot up my old android phone with an old version most likely and was able to log in. I think they must've pushed an update to the app and broken it.
